It’s here! Zoom Webinar/Slide lecture/Stage Concert Replay of “Visions, Prophecy & Native American Cultural Reawakening.” Meredith College, September 24th, 2020.
Check it out! The REPLAY of my Meredith webinar/slide lecture/stage concert is finally published on YOUTUBE (despite many COVID related technical challenges)!
It’s all about my Journey as a Spiritually Guided Artist. It includes some of the works currently on view until Oct. 19th at Weems Gallery on the Meredith campus, and shares insights into my spiritual experiences and related influences (click below):
Accompanying me is Charly & The Sunshine. Lead singer Charly Lowery is an award winning singer/song writer from Pembroke, NC with roots in the Union Chapel community. Charly is an activist for Lumbee and Native American rights. Lowery immerses herself in the culture of American music and expands her listening ear to various genres, all the while composing songs that give a personal account of her experience as an indigenous woman walking in two worlds.
Alyssa Hinton: Spiritual Awakening – Native Roots and Culture is currently on view and open to the public at Gaddy Hamrick Weems Gallery until October 19th, 2020. Open Weekdays 9am-5pm and Weekends 2-5pm.
