In this Fiber Study series I’m experimenting with fabric combinations, digital printing of background layers, joining methods and embellishment options. This sample mainly explores the contrast/interaction between the digitally printed organic hide shaped backdrop surface and the overlaid circuit imagery and hardware.
Medium: mixed media fiber composite using cotton cloth, canvas, photos, acrylic painting, digital editing, digital fabric printing, coated spunbonded material, multi colored ribbons, string, metal washers, hand and machine stitching.
