In this series I’m experimenting with fabric combinations, digital printing of background layers, joining methods and embellishment options. This sample mainly explores the contrast/interaction between the organic marbled surface of the hide shaped backdrop and the overlaid mesh elements.
Medium: mixed media fiber composite using cotton cloth, canvas, photos, dyed cloth, digital editing, digital fabric printing, string, fringed edging, metallic ribbon and hand and machine stitching.

The ‘Fiber Study Mesh Sample’ is excellent. Great color/composition. Really captures the essence and details of sacred dress.
