Description: This celestial tree/woman is situated on a mound. As was often the case during mound-building times in the southeastern region, the mound was purposefully situated by a river (flowing water) and within it are rocks of magnetite (iron). With the tree standing at the center of the universe, its branches reach at once in the cardinal directions and towards the upper sky dome, while its roots are anchored in the watery underworld.
